Review on Sony ICFC180 AM/FM Clock Radio - Discontinued Model, White Color by Davey Kamau

I have had a Sony clock radio for about 15 years. I got it from my grandma for Christmas and it has served me well. I decided it was time for an upgrade, and Sony has earned my loyalty over the years with everything from computer monitors to a 27-inch 1983 Trinitron that still runs like new. This radio alarm clock delivers what it promises, but it's not cool. The alarm controls seem to break down over time and the display is difficult to read unless you have eagle eye. The radio tuner is weak, even close to my window, I can't tune into all the stations I have are the only downsides I've discovered so far: the radio takes up little space, which is very handy in my closet-sized room, and the dual alarm is great, as is the on/off switch. As mentioned above, the buttons to set the alarm clock feel a bit cheap, but the good thing is that you can move them up and down, unlike some alarm clocks that only allow forward movement. The brightness of the display can be adjusted, eh is good because it is VERY bright at full power The controls are logical and easy to use and the sound quality is a little above average. The two features I really like are the sleep button and the "weekend" feature. The sleep button increases the number of minutes with each press, which is great for those of us who need an extra hour but don't feel like programming an alarm for it. The holiday function disables the alarm but keeps the setting. Pretty cool. All in all, this is a great alarm clock. It wasn't too expensive, did its job well, nice and small. Edit: After a few more months of using this alarm clock, I've come to the conclusion that the viewing angle is only good when you're at eye level with the clock, or above it. That means you can't place it high on a dresser as the LCDs are unreadable and very dim. The rest are still happy.
