Buckle broke after 3 months

My kid loves this belt and wears it almost every day. They rarely use the buckle and instead simply slip out (we use it to hold the costume's tail). Today I unpacked it and it fell apart. One of the parts you push to release the fastener has popped out and looks like it broke the solder so it won't come back. Very disappointed with the quality.

Pros

I love the adjustable strap because my son is small so this strap can grow with him.

Cons

If a child spills something on the belt, it may be difficult to clean as it is not machine washable which can result in staining or discoloration over time.
