I bought these monitors as reference studio monitors for recording. The sound is honestly very smooth and clean, but they sound different than many other sources - you could say that a reference monitor should add real sound to the mix. Yes they can, but how many people do you know who listen to music on reference monitors? I wish they had software that simulates phone speakers, an alexa echo studio, a good gaming system, a laptop speaker, a car. Because in one of my songs, for example, because of them in the most decent acoustic systems (my car, my Alexa studio) the bass is rich and full, and because of them it is, but not LIKE there. and it's not that the speaker isn't capable, because when I set up the mix of the song, it can REALLY be there through that speaker. it already is in most places i would hear this song. I don't want to pay too much for it which makes reference monitors pointless because if you need to be listening through other devices to get normal human audio then why not buy a good normal computer speaker so you already know one of the answers? Definitely a quality company that makes quality products. can't be wrong. Update: the person who reviewed them about automatically turning them off and redetermining the volume when you turn them back on is right - it's very annoying, and while they're multifunctional, it's stupid
