Great Sound, Terrible Product, No Support

The speakers sound fantastic, but they have two major drawbacks. First, the speakers sometimes emit a loud crackle and hum. Sometimes it just goes on for days when they can't be turned on at all, or they make a loud buzz at full volume. It's pretty scary to wake up at 3am because the speakers are screaming for no reason. The second disadvantage is the "smart" technology. When it goes to sleep, the volume gets really low, so you can't set it up with a regular device or integrate it with other…

After testing these speakers, I had to buy them!

The best monitor/bookshelf speakers! I was seeing these speakers for the first time and thought it would be nice to see if there was something that would meet my needs as a replacement for some of the older Altec Lansing speakers I used for my desktop setup. I thought they looked well done visually and didn't look so overdone. So I decided to buy a pair just to test out the sound and then return them to my local store. I had no idea how much I would actually fall in love with her. I connected…

great ass (catchy name?)

I bought these monitors as reference studio monitors for recording. The sound is honestly very smooth and clean, but they sound different than many other sources - you could say that a reference monitor should add real sound to the mix. Yes they can, but how many people do you know who listen to music on reference monitors? I wish they had software that simulates phone speakers, an alexa echo studio, a good gaming system, a laptop speaker, a car. Because in one of my songs, for example, because

Great sound but seriously lacking

I love the sound of these speakers. I've always loved Klipsch products. My family room has a Klipsch home theater system. It replaced a 4 year old Klipsch Pro-Media 2.1 system that I've outgrown. I had to replace the driver in the woofer three times. I was listening to more and more music on my Mac and less and less on my home theater. Next to my new system, the Pro Media System is a toy. I tried the R-14PM first but the ones I got had a bad negative on the main speaker and sounded a bit bright

Absolutely phenomenal.

I carefully considered the bookshelf speakers to fit my wife's turntable and generally be good speakers before deciding on them and I wasn't disappointed! These speakers came in a box with the Klipsch logo proudly printed on the outside along with the phrase "Guardians of Sound". I'm very happy with the way Klipsch supports this tagline as the sound they have is crisp, clear and clean. I first tried them individually and even then I was impressed by the balance of clean highs and powerful lows.

For the money I am very happy with the cleanliness and performance of these speakers paired with a Klipsch R-12SW subwoofer in my home office. I've spent most of the last year looking for the perfect headphone/amp/DAC setup and finally came up with a couple of good ones. However, I really missed having decent speakers in the room where I now spend 80% of my life. The R-15PMs were perfect because I didn't want to mess with a receiver and instead could power them directly from my PC via USB. I…

USB and Bluetooth connection information! (TRY USB 3.0!)

USB: I gave away my pair of speakers because the USB port didn't work. A Klipsch rep told me this is normal for these speakers. My symptoms were that when I plugged speakers into one of my computer's USB 2.0 ports, I got an error message from Windows 10 that the USB device was defective. Klipsch asked me to try two different USB cables, which I did, and then they shipped my speakers and sent me a new pair. The new pair gave me the same USB device failed error on two USB 2.0 ports on my…
