This is a GREAT starter kit if you are just starting out with quilling. You'll find you need additional products once you start taking it seriously, but the gist is here. The quilling tool was of better quality than the separate 4 tool set I bought. I found that a needle tool is also needed. The paper strips were a great start too, but I soon realized I needed more strips. I think there are only 10 strips of each color. A measuring tool is necessary but sometimes I wish I had a tool that wasn't also placed on top of the cork to make it easier for the strips to unwind, so basically I wish that you could remove the tool from the cork, but that is not possible. . A small bottle of glue is also needed - I didn't realize how much I needed until I started using it! I also used pens EVERY TIME. The only thing I don't use is the rolling tool (that plastic thing that helps roll things straight?). In general an excellent purchase in terms of value for money.
