Great little camera, what's not to like?

So, with all the COVID hype, I've finally had to put up with some online video conferencing. My wife's laptop was great for this, but she got nervous because I was using it when she needed to download her crappy Kindle novels. doesn't align with my Boomer thought process. I don't like paying a lot for things, so I've always used refurbished rental computers and such that are fine for my purposes. So fast forward and it seems like my old Dell Optiplex, overkill from Toys 'r' Us or somewhere 10 years ago, can't handle this footage. It's been great for MySpace and AOL dialup, but I think it's time for an upgrade. Found a newer offline desktop on FB Marketplace for a short $$ that is better suited for video footage. Good. My kid had his old 32 inch TV which was too old and tacky for her liking and I was able to use it as a monitor. Just plug this HDMI device into the back and you're good to go. Better. Now all I needed was a camera and I stumbled upon this little beauty on Revain. The price was right and it was delivered very quickly. Box. I opened the box and there was a nice note from the manufacturer, a camera and a tripod, The cat immediately knocked off the table. She chased him down the corridor and I haven't seen him since. I had it on my desktop, but then it just showed a very detailed video of my nose hair. So I unrolled the bracket assembly on the back and it sits like a parrot on a repurposed 32-inch TV that was too old and plebeian for my daughter. They go together like peas and carrots. It's easy to adjust side by side and up and down which is a big plus for people like me who love radio. It also has a small rocker cover that covers the lens. So if I have to get up during a meeting, no one will see that I'm wearing shorts. I bet this CNN guy would love to have one of those, right? So I set everything up and did a test run, calling my kid's Zoom (the one who thinks a 32-inch flat screen is too old and plebeian). She was really impressed and a little upset that my video was better than hers. She says the sound is great too, so if it gets her approval, it will definitely get mine. It's like two good reviews in one! So the end result is worth every penny, the quality is top notch, the installation is insanely easy and now I know what the millennial kid is getting for Christmas this year. The cat hid the tripod.
