This device has just been installed. Nearly Perfect: The only real "complaints" I have are that the RDS information is too small to be useful to the driver at a glance. While it works and works well (better than the replacement Kenwood DDX372BT), it's undersized. Annoying because there is enough space on the screen that is poorly used for things that shouldn't be there. Another disappointment, but again not a deal breaker, is that the function key's blue backlight is a bit too bright for nighttime use. and is not regulated. In addition, the screen must be dimmed manually at night. No deal breaker here either. I also have to manually dim my radar detector. But an automatic would be nice. But at this price I'm not complaining. GPS SA SWEET! It is on par with my laptop's GPS program. Tom tom cards, which I really like. The system has limitations, but also a lot that I consider a bonus. Of all the GPS's I've had past and present I can honestly say I love this Boss GPS setup, the best without a doubt. It is VERY quick to start and count. When used alongside my laptop it is just as accurate. The rear camera (I used the Esky EC170-08 camera) is great! Comes on when reversing and goes off when driving. Very helpful! The Kenwood DDX372BT's speakerphone was rubbish at best. People on the other end have complained about quality issues, and that's with an external microphone. The BV9384NV and its built-in microphone don't have any quality issues for people on the other end, but it's quiet. Sounds good, they said. Very important for me. The SD app works great! Always picks up where you left off when you parked the car and went shopping. Very good sound, shows artwork and moves easily through the songs. This is also a very fast device compared to Kenwood. ***UPDATE*** Well, a second wife bought it for her birthday - she loves it. Just installed it with AXXESS ASWC-1 for steering wheel control. This is in a 2007 Ford Freestyle with an audiophile system. Much cheaper than buying a new car! VERY happy with both units! A highly recommended system! She loves the way she looks and sounds. ***UPDATE*** 9/25/16 - I absolutely LOVE this stereo! No problem and sounds fantastic! Still highly recommended! ***UPDATE*** 4/4/19 - Years later I still LOVE my BOSS! It still works just as well as the day I installed it. Both! I still use mine every day for work. Couldn't be happier for the value for money! I am preparing to buy a third car for my kids!
