Simple and strong Best accessory
I combined this with a Manfrotto two piece articulating arm (Manfrotto 196AB-2) to make a macro mount. Articulating Arm Stands are perfect for this mount. Mount the mount to a post, a Manfrotto quick release plate where the camera will be (so I can mount/remove the camera quickly) and on the other end I mount the LED light. The swing arm is designed so I can focus the light where I want or just fold it in half to save space when traveling. It certainly feels as strong and durable as other Manfrotto products and I look forward to using it for a while!
