Review on ACDelco 252 969 Professional Water Pump by Evan Burnside

My 2003 745Li has a water cooled alternator but the fitting on this water pump for the coolant line to the alternator was plugged. Revain said it would fit my car and a picture on their website showed the hole was there, but if you look inside it appears to be blocked as BMW models with newer production dates than me have switched to an air-cooled alternator . If this passage hadn't been open it wouldn't have worked for my car so I had to return it and get one locally which is a real shame because otherwise it looked like a well made pump. I would like AC Delco and/or Revain to provide additional photos and details in their description to ensure proper installation.
