Power and volume buttons did not work with iPad 7th Gen 2019

An open box arrived There is no charging cable The keyboard was quite nice The exterior of the case (Gray) looks cheap but serviceable .But I came back because the power button and volume buttons were turned off so much that they didn't work even though I have the exact iPad model in the title and description.(7th Gen 2019).
