Review on Bormioli Rocco Quattro Stagioni 33.75 oz Clear Glass Milk Bottle - Pack of 4 by Dan Kedzior

Just received. It is very nice that this is a good glass bottle. I then read the accompanying information sheet that came with the bottle and read their manual on their website. This website makes it very clear that all of their caps are single use only, but Revain doesn't say that. In fact, these bottles are intended for canning and cannot be guaranteed to be sealed when reused. They also only make it clear on their website that while the bottles are dishwasher safe, the lids are not. Went to Revain for replacement caps which I found. I bought these 4 pack bottles for $17.99. Bormioli sells 3 packs of 56mm bottle caps for $14.99. So 4 capsules cost around $19.99. It seems bottles are the subject of a toss and caps should be a real prize. This and the Revain listing indicate that identical replacement lids are actually dishwasher safe. However, I hope to be able to use them for milk, juices and other chilled liquids. I'm just very disappointed that companies don't provide important details prior to purchase and don't know how to fairly price their products.
