I bought these bottles to use as milk bottles as half gallon cartons are difficult for me to use. They are dishwasher safe and I bought these baby bottle caps (Dr, Original Brown Wide Mouth Replacement Travel Caps, 2-pack, white (680-P2)) that were recommended by another customer to use in place of the original caps so that they it can be washed in the dishwasher. Liter glass bottles for the same purposes.

The description says that the neck of the bottle is 56 cm long. The opening is only 50 cm. I need bottles to replace the caps with. I already have 4 milk bottles that I like better and I can't find the lids. I bought replacement 56cm caps, they are too big for these bottles and the bottles I already had. If you can't buy new caps, there's no point in buying a refillable bottle. Send these back.

AWESOME bottles! lid problem. Within a short period of time, the inside of the caps will be slightly scratched, causing the paint to peel off. Over time, the lid will fade to a disgusting color. To make matters worse, the manufacturer seems to be aware of this and is offering replacement caps for $6 for a 3-pack! Remember there are 4 bottles in the pack! These are good quality glass bottles. I like the wide opening which is very easy to clean. You look good too! However, I bought them thinking I could use these bottles for a second fermentation of kombucha and I was wrong. The lid is not tight enough to hold the soda. I find it a bit misleading that the listing for this item says "Great for making kombucha". I think this works for the first fermentation or if you don't care about the fizz? I also noticed that there is a warning on the packaging

The bottle itself is almost perfect. They are used for almond milk and nothing else. Covers need work. I bought in June and now the inside of the lids are discoloring. The discoloration doesn't bother me other than appearing grayish black and I'm wondering if this is some sort of mold? They are constantly used and stored in the refrigerator. And constantly washed. Just received. It is very nice that this is a good glass bottle. I then read the accompanying information sheet that came with the bottle and read their manual on their website. This website makes it very clear that all of their caps are single use only, but Revain doesn't say that. In fact, these bottles are intended for canning and cannot be guaranteed to be sealed when reused.
