Shortening the pin made it less prone to flexing and greatly improved thread contact. Definitely low quality steel

After cutting about 1/2 inch off the push pin and lubricating all the threads it worked fine on the 428 chain. Shortening the pin made it less prone to flexing and greatly improved contact with carving. Made from inferior steel. Ships from China so I hope you take your time.
