Review on JVC HARX900 Black Full-Size High-Grade Headphones by Brianna Quintana

50mm drivers create a great soundstage. They're big and they charge

These headphones pack a punch. They are very large above the ears, but not too large. Those of you who have read some of my reviews know that I have quite a bit of experience with audio. I refuse to call myself an audiophile, mainly because I believe these sounds are subjective. It is important to know where you are in terms of good sound quality. I think most audiophiles or a few snobs. So I'll try not to use the term and just say that I have almost 40 years of experience with audio and video equipment. These headphones are a pleasure to listen to and have a wonderfully wide soundstage with plenty of bass. But I wouldn't call it a bass. The sound they deliver is as accurate as can be. Please, the soundstage is far and wide, making you feel like you're part of the experience. Crafted from quality materials, these headphones will stand the test of time and light use. Now if you're looking for a flat-ear phone that doesn't sound good at all, I'd recommend the beyerdynamic dt770 pro, 80 ohms. Which are on the other end of the spectrum. They are balanced and even, not bass-heavy and not pleasant to listen to. I think if you mix music or an artist this is for you. It's the complete opposite. Please create dynamic sound that is fun and enjoyable to listen to. Whether you're listening to good HiFi or a cinema these are great headphones! The bottom line is if you want something great sounding and bassy that has the sonic signature of the Sennheiser 598 cs. Which cost about $200. So if you want to save money and get great sound, buy these. If you have any questions, you can write to me. I love these comfortable listening headphones. Philip Illinois
