No, this product should NOT be left on the Blue Ox when driving your RV down the road (unless you're towing something, I mean). But if you park somewhere for a while, the weather can take its toll on your Blue Ox. We are often on the Texas coast and salt water, humidity and hot sun can cause problems over time. And I have to say I have seen this exact product at RV dealers and they want a lot more than what is listed here! I made sure and went to the Blue Ox website to get a part number to make sure it was exactly what I needed because I couldn't believe the price difference!
