Bought a new ASUS laptop with silver keys and darker silver key markings that are almost impossible to read in some lighting conditions. This light was the perfect solution to my problem and now I can read the keys much more easily. It turns on and off with the computer and can be toggled on and off with multiple backlight options. It doesn't distract from what's on the screen at all and emits very little light.
