Review on πŸ–‹οΈ Set of 2 Quill Pens with Powdered Ink by Carla Anderson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Genuine 18th Century Quill

My students love them, but they are always amazed at how difficult it is to write legibly with a quill pen. These pens aren't easy to use, but that's not the point, is it? Haven't tried powder ink yet (seems to be very messy!) but quill pens work well if you want to learn how to write with a pen. However, if you're looking for an old-fashioned calligraphy pen, then this isn't for you. Your text will most likely look sloppy and sloppy - at least the first few times. If you want to emulate the Founding Fathers and practice your own 18th Century style John Hancock, this is a great choice! But beware: you will learn why writers used to be called "ink villains". Don't plan on going to an elegant party in the evening after use - and cover the entire surface and work on the washable bottom while you dip yourself in the water.

Pros
  • Calligraphy Pens
Cons
  • Quick Instructions

These were awesome at our wedding. Guests used these to sign the guest book. It was a lot of fun.
