This is a great puzzle! It's a bit tricky because there are only a few colors that keep repeating themselves in different shapes; but it is perfectly doable because the combinations are unique. You can literally take any piece and with a bit of effort scanning the puzzle box, find out exactly where it is within the 6" range, or narrow it down to 2 options in some cases. The pieces have interesting shapes that go well together. I HATE puzzles. where all the parts look the same and you're not sure you have the right part in place until you realize things should fit - don't. What a waste of time. It's not. It's beautiful, colorful, whimsical and fun to work with. Highly recommended.
