18 gauge metal is barely adequate. I can't imagine how a 20 gauge sink would stand up to normal use
The faucet set provided is very nice. However to connect a standard 1/2" supply line you need to purchase 1/2" 90 degree elbows and 1/2" pipe nipples. Additionally, you must be careful to purchase close fitting 90 degree elbows in order to have sufficient wall clearance to attach the supply lines.
