A coaxial surge protector that fits and hopefully never knows if it actually works. it's a matter of time before I get a direct lightning strike due to my situation. *I bought this specifically for the ability to install it with a ground block* I have RG Cable 11,400ft QUAD SHIELD RG-11 Direct Burial Underground with Floodant Solid Core Coax Cable 3GHz, 14AWG, 75 Ohm, UV RESISTANT emissions , PVC routed outer jacket RoHS Compliant Lower signal loss compared to RG7-F connectors reducing cable size PPC RG11 Coaxial Compression Connectors Qty 25: EX11N716WS with AquaTight Seal for Quad Screen, PE and PVC Jacket Serial Coaxial Cable * A 10 gauge ground wire was connected from the ground screw to the ground block. al Coax Type F approved spade lugs for antenna, satellite dish, DIRECTV, Comcast, CATV, etc. - 2 connectors and then it was attached to the ground rod which was placed 7 1/2 feet into the ground. ***Many people complain that this surge protector is not rated for RG6 or RG11 cable. My cables fit and the F-connectors are properly screwed on, so I don't see a problem at the moment. ****This protection is better than no protection at all*
