Review on π₯€ HDPE Wide Mouth Water Bottle by Nalgene by Harald Patterson
I think it's an excuse.
I have had several Nalgene products that I purchased locally. They are rigid and cannot be bent or squeezed to deform. Not only is the plastic on this bottle noticeably thinner, but it's also soft enough that I can bend and deform the bottle with one hand. Real Nalgene don't do that. Thinner plastic is inherently more brittle and easier to break, puncture, or melt. What I love about real Nalgene bottles is the ability to boil water and stuff it in a sleeping bag to keep it warm. I don't think this bottle is suitable for this application.
