Review on Ultimate Outdoor Adventure Companion - 60L Waterproof Hiking Backpack With Rain Cover And Travel Daypack For Climbing, Camping, And Touring by Brian Hazzard

Not for Backpacking

This pack is very lightweight. I could see using it for travel, but not for any long-distance backpacking. There is no real frame to this pack, so it puts most of the weight on your shoulders instead of your hips. If you have a wider mid-section, the hip belt pads won't quite land on your hips like a more expensive pack - not great if you are carrying much weight. If you plan to backpack, I recommend looking for something a bit more structured than this. The quality seemed ok - actually one zipper on a pocket was not working correctly. My son said it's basically a large school backpack with extra pockets and a waist band.
