I bought this not knowing I could just replace the key fob body. Much cheaper than buying another Ford key fob. It uses the internals of your current key fob so as long as it works it will work fine. However, it scratches easily and sometimes the keys don't click as often as we'd like. The silver rim on the keychain is paint that wears off quickly when it rings in your pocket. For the price, though, it's worth it for the value alone. I would buy this product again. Make sure your current key fob is still working before purchasing. It's just a case, after all, and it doesn't come with the electronics you need to make your remote work.
