Review on High-Speed Sabrent USB 3.0 Micro SD and SD Card Reader (CR-T2MS): Fast Data Transfer and Convenient Card Access by Rob Kerr

(WATCH VIDEO)I bought this product for fast file transfer until I could buy a built in card reader for my PC. I built my computer from scratch and used only the best I could get my hands on at the time, which meant all USB ports are actually 3.0. This product is advertised as being made specifically for it so I thought it would be perfect. I was wrong. When the reader is connected, it opens files and then closes them. And then open, then close. This will continue indefinitely. For those who may be wondering, yes all my USB drivers are up to date and I have tested the computer with other 3.0 devices such as portable hard drives and they all work. This happened right out of the box. The only reason I gave this 3 stars is because I was able to get it to work by plugging it into the USB port (USB 2.0) built into my monitor. So yes it works but not at 3.0 speed because it just doesn't work on a 3.0 port. I don't know if it's just my device. In any case, I personally cannot recommend this product. If you bought it, I hope it suits you.
