Withstood a high pressure wash with deep water and additional rinse options

Got through the washing machine in your pocket and still works. I have 3 of these now and have experienced the cycle of crashes described by others. That's strange because on my home PC, every card works fine in every one of these readers over every USB port. At work I have front USB 2.0 ports with full (slower) functionality; rear USB 2.0 ports with most features except the ability to delete items from an SD card; and rear USB 3.0 ports causing a crash loop. I added a dual-port USB 3.0 front…

SD Card Killer - Memory Card Accessory

I don't use this often. It has been used less than 10 times in total and will be stored in a small dust-free container, not thrown in bags, etc. It keeps losing touch with cards, especially those with a micro SD slot. The card will randomly disconnect and reconnect when securely connected. At first I thought it was a bad SD card but now it has killed multiple SD cards because I didn't realize that this device was causing the problem. Cannot be used reliably. WILL KILL/DAMAGE YOUR SD CARDS. You…

Buyer Warning. Best in Computer Accessories & Peripherals

It takes a certain group of people to fall for this short-lived trick. The thing is, it's not really ephemeral. A part of a second. It would take even more time. Another second and I could upload my photos. If only I could understand the work, if I could just hold on for a moment. Emotional abuse is no joke. Bad adapter: elapses half a variable moment - maybe next time. When I'm faster When it's slower I was brought to subtlety; My skills are broken, and finally I give in: the adapter won. My…

Not the best of designs, but simple and effective

I bought a pair of these to keep near my computers after my usual backup Anker doubled the price of their unit. Technically, they appear to be completely identical. Both offer quick access to two SD cards. This card is slightly thinner, making it better suited for PCs with tight port layouts, although this is largely offset by the fact that the cards hang down the side. It gets thinner, which makes the card look flatter, which seems to make the SD card's pins more prone to damage, but can also…

  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Great product == UPDATED == (Class 10 32GB SD card)

Keeps turning off. This is the main problem of this adapter. Since I recently built a new computer I didn't want to add extra things like a memory card reader if this little thing could help but I've only used it a couple of times and it does the same thing. DISCONNECT AND RECONNECT. I've searched the internet for a driver to get this working but haven't found anything for this little guy. No wonder, because it is just a card reader. If you buy it then it is indeed a gamble. it may work or do…

Garbage! USB 3.0 function dies after minimal use! The support was useless.

Everything worked fine at first. I only used it occasionally as I carried it with my camera bag. I used it the other day and it only works with USB 2.0 ports. Not at all on USB 3.0 ports. Tried on many USB 3.0 ports and several PCs. Tried other card readers, everything works. Contacted technical support, which requires creating an account and providing information about the date of purchase. After several email exchanges, I was contacted by phone from tech support. They are asking me to try…

Big problem. best card reader

(WATCH VIDEO)I bought this product for fast file transfer until I could buy a built in card reader for my PC. I built my computer from scratch and used only the best I could get my hands on at the time, which meant all USB ports are actually 3.0. This product is advertised as being made specifically for it so I thought it would be perfect. I was wrong. When the reader is connected, it opens files and then closes them. And then open, then close. This will continue indefinitely. For those who may

It doesn't work with my SD cards.

Doesn't work. When the SD card is inserted, it flickers between the file explorer window and the error message window. The error messages start with complaints about the file header and then say "invalid directory name". At the end it reports that the folder is empty. This error occurred with several SD cards that worked fine in my cameras. With my "old" USB 2.0 card reader from SSK, all these SD cards can be read without any problems. This is happening on my Surface 3 and another laptop…
