Your ThinkPad will thank you.

I was really on the fence with this dock. I have used the original Lenovo Thunderbolt Dock, Lenovo Graphics Dock, HP Omen Graphics Accelerator and Pluggable Thunderbolt 3 Dock on my Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga X1 (3rd gen) and each dock seems to have a specific function. Whether it's that weird freeze that graphics card docks seem to suffer from, not charging properly, or not recognizing ports. This docking station is an absolute dream. Plug it in, tell Windows 10 it's authorized, and you're done. No freezing. No drop in performance. USB devices will not disconnect or reconnect. No reboot. No crashes when connecting/disconnecting. It charges, doesn't get very hot, and has plenty of ports so I don't have to carry around a USB hub anymore. The DAC is also quite decent. I'm not ready to give up my beloved Dragonfly Red, but it works well with my Shure 1540. Yes, this dock is a bit more expensive than other Thunderbolt 3 docks, but the sheer ease of use makes it so worth the money. Not to mention that the build quality is absolutely top notch and the dock itself is so small that it's easy to hide under my laptop stand. If you have a laptop with Thunderbolt 3, this is the docking station you've been looking for.
