Your ThinkPad will thank you.

I was really on the fence with this dock. I have used the original Lenovo Thunderbolt Dock, Lenovo Graphics Dock, HP Omen Graphics Accelerator and Pluggable Thunderbolt 3 Dock on my Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga X1 (3rd gen) and each dock seems to have a specific function. Whether it's that weird freeze that graphics card docks seem to suffer from, not charging properly, or not recognizing ports. This docking station is an absolute dream. Plug it in, tell Windows 10 it's authorized, and you're done. No…

Well made docking station that fits Dell XPS13 perfectly

I am very impressed with the size and features of this device when I plugged it in. All USB ports are occupied with a monitor connected to the DisplayPort connector and a soundbar connected to the optical port. My XPS13 works and charges great. I haven't had a single issue in the last week and love the quality, size and build of this dock. Powerful power supply. 7/23: I had an issue where I got a blue screen of death when connecting the dock due to hardware conflicts. Trial and error (and some…

Cons
  • Not everything fits

Apple really messed up the Macbook Pro 13 inch design by only providing two Thunderbolt ports and no other ports at all Has. That's fine if you're using your Macbook as a toy, but if you're using it for work you'll need monitors and peripherals, and while you can plug "anything" into the Thunderbolt ports, it can only be two at a time. If you have two external monitors, you can't even connect a charger! I've done a lot of research on the port replicators for this laptop and there are very, very

This dock is everything!

This thing is expensive but PERFECT. Please read on for all the details. I've tried many USB-C hubs and they're equally terrible because only one or two ports work. And almost nothing works when exporting 4K to an editing monitor. From $100 to $30 hubs, the limitations are painful when you import RAW photos or media and try to use the display. and Thunderbolt 3 are different and I needed a dock for Thunderbolt 3 to create content. Wirecutter recommended the CalDigit TS3 Plus and since it's…

A lot of punch for a lot of dollars.

This dock meets all my needs. After many hours of research, this dock has turned out to be the best on the market for my needs. ADVANTAGES: * UHS II SD memory card slot. As a professional photographer, this was the best choice. * Small size and light weight. - I put velcro on top and fastened under the table surface. Lower on the priority list, but no less important.* 85W charging - No pass-through or lower power consumption like many cheaper docking stations.* USB 3.1 ports A and C - All USB…

Continuous. Period. - Docking Stations

Over the last year I've (easily) used 6 USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 hubs and docs. I switch between two of my employer's computers and my own every morning and evening. They are both Thunderbolt 3 MacBook Pros. Nothing met my needs. I've tried "sidecar" style devices like the HyperDrive and they can't handle a hard-shell computer case like my personal laptop, not to mention the fact that the soldier connections on the ports wear out over time. I have tried no power key style devices such as Lenovo…
