Review on πŸ–ŠοΈ Sewing Pkg of Hot Iron Transfer Pencils by Angela Rodriguez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It works. but at what cost?

I wanted to love these pencils, they seemed like the answer I needed for my pattern iron. I was immediately frustrated because it was very difficult to get thin lines for detail on the pattern. I insisted on gently drawing the lines several times, because the pencil can't be too sharp, can't press hard, or break. Finally, the second time I was able to iron exactly with the transfer and I was able to follow the drawn pattern casually, because fine details cannot be drawn with a pencil. I will wash off the finished product once I understand that the pen is durable and will not wash off. It wouldn't be a problem if I could get enough thin lines, but since you don't have a pencil to sharpen it's inevitable. Long story short, I'd rather not buy them. At best you can sketch if you can use thick enough thread to hide it.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
