I love the look of the carafe, it has an elegant quality. The filter and the glass jug are easy to clean. It is light and thin so care must be taken not to chip it. Included were two plugs for the spout. The glass and rubber lids work great with or without a filter. This is my first cold brew experience and I used medium grind dark coffee. Something thick floats outside the filter and sinks to the bottom, but I don't mind pouring it into my cup. I bought this on sale and I'm glad I have an option other than using my french press. The coffee seems more concentrated and I enjoy the aromatic iced coffee. I experiment with sweeteners, cream, flavors and get a nice boost of energy during the day.
