I tried two units of this heater and both had the same disadvantages: 1. The thermostat is unusable. A typical run looks like this. Set it to 68 and it will heat 150 m². Foot on 78 before shutting down. If you want to turn it off early without turning it off, you may need to lower the set temperature to 62 before it turns off. It will never turn on again and you will wake up in a cold room. You might be able to increase the temperature to 64 without turning it on right away, but you'll still wake up in a room with a temperature of 70 degrees, which is too cold. Turn it up and you'll wake up in a hot room. I couldn't figure it out after weeks of experimenting.2. It makes amazing crackling noises for a few minutes after startup and shuts down due to thermal expansion and contraction. It's loud enough to wake me up and make me jump up until I fall asleep. Other brands of heaters I have used do not. On the plus side, the controls are easy to use, but why does the remote place the +/- buttons on the left and right sides of a directional-like bar, rather than up and down above me. One unusual feature is the ability to program it to turn on after a certain number of hours. Other heaters with a timer only support shutdown. Fan noise is slightly below average and fairly consistent, with no annoying whine or hum. The oscillation function makes a grinding noise in the middle of its range and it was so annoying that I stopped using this function. I've found that I don't need this feature anyway. In summary, this heater heats up the room, but I could not live with its shortcomings.
