I really wanted a small counter for simple tasks and that's exactly what it is. Nothing out of the ordinary, about the size of a cracked iPhone 7 screen. You get 4 batteries (2 for the meter, 2 spare batteries) and an extra fuse. The zip pocket is decent and as others have said you have to remove the wires to reset everything. The instructions don't match, but it's really not that difficult to use. If you have to read them every time you use the meter, it may be worth forgoing electricity. The meter's hard case resembles a silicone cell phone case. The gauge is easy to remove/replace without feeling like it could damage the case. The auto function is user-friendly and easy to navigate in other functions as well. The 4 buttons feel a bit "clicky" like an old TV remote control. There is a flashlight (phone is better), NCV is a nice feature too. Temperature is measured, but only in metric units. Notable 1) Measures up to 250V, 10A. Yes, it says CAT III 600V. 2) It is not UL listed but is CE listed (if that matters to you). 3) I'm not sure how true "True RMS" is. The readings vary a bit, especially when compared to my Fluke gauge. This is a good gauge for home, car, science projects, electronics study, etc. Just don't take it to work and put it in your back pocket with a screwdriver.
