Although the multimeter works fine, you can only use the test leads provided. The probe connector is a custom port size so the meter cannot accept other probe lead sets. It is very easy to use, the intelligent function quickly determines whether you are reading AV volts, DC volts, ohms or continuity. Voltmeters have been used for almost 50 years. Have a drawer full of different digital voltmeters. I just wanted to do something cheap and dial in a lot of parts. I really wanted a small counter for simple tasks and that's exactly what it is. Nothing out of the ordinary, about the size of a cracked iPhone 7 screen. You get 4 batteries (2 for the meter, 2 spare batteries) and an extra fuse. The zip pocket is decent and as others have said you have to remove the wires to reset everything.
