I'd recommend getting a 16GB two stick kit, but if you're going to buy it then upgrading to that isn't a bad idea. I recently received a 32GB kit and found that they don't work with that kit (same RAM). I know the speed isn't the fastest but it's ok if you meet the minimum requirements for the games you play, if you don't play but edit I can't help you because I have this kind of not doing work. However, I can say that the speed is good for the system and is a good stepping stone when you're short on cash. I have Ryzen 5 2600 and 1650 on my system so Ryzen processors are fine.
