Don't trade here, don't waste your money. I've checked every option carefully and it's rubbish.

An experienced bicycle mechanic who rides mountain bikes in the summer. Decided to save a few bucks and give these a try. I bought two sets front and rear (4 sets of pads) for Sram Guide brakes. Cleaned the rotors with rubbing alcohol, installed the pads (had to reuse the existing Sram wrist pins as they only come with a cotter pin) and installed the pads properly (15-20 heat cycles). First ride, Shvik and limited stopping power. Pads and rotors cleaned again, rotors sanded (wet/dry sandpaper and alcohol), no dice, no improvement. Okay maybe 1 set of pads is dirty. Tried a different set. No difference. New rotors changed, pads rearranged, no difference. Thrown out, bought Sram pads, no problem. Don't waste money.

Pros
  • Higher braking friction than semi-metal and polymer pads. Excellent braking power in all weather conditions and longer pad life.
Cons
  • A few little things
