I have an 80lb pit mix that has gone through countless collars. She's hard on them - not on purpose - and nothing seems to last long enough, and I hate to see her walking around with a frayed collar. It is very important that you get the correct measurement - I guessed and ended up having to return the first one to get the correct size. This collar is so durable that I have no doubt it will last for some time. The second featured a removable "In Training" tag and Velcro logo; the first one that arrived had neither (quality control issue?). I love the function of the handle and have decided to detach it from the velcro in case my girl needs to be tamed. The velcro is very strong and the metal buckle feels nice and gives it a durable feel. I really like that the collar cannot be pulled around the neck and therefore there is no risk of strangulation as with a normal collar. Highly recommend if you have a large dog!
