My most recent interaction with Eightwood, an internet retailer of accessories, home audio, and electronics, was incredibly disappointing. I was eager to get a set of speakers that I had purchased, but when they did, I discovered that they were broken and didn't function properly. I got in touch with Eightwood's customer support right away to explain the situation and ask for a replacement or refund. But I thought their customer support was sluggish and unresponsive. Even then, the representative was not very helpful or understanding. It took several emails and phone calls over the period of several weeks just to get a response. I eventually received a replacement set of speakers after much back and forth. But even these proved to be flawed and ineffective. I was extremely frustrated by the lack of communication and assistance from Eightwood's customer care staff as well as by the overall disappointing experience. Despite my bad experience, I must admit that Eightwood's products appeared to be of high quality, and if they had performed as promised, I'm confident they would have improved my home audio setup. But due to the unsatisfactory customer service and lack of support, I won't be placing another purchase from Eightwood in the future.
