Review on πŸ’§ Effortless Water Change Made Simple with Marina Easy Clean Water Changer by Anna Barnett

50 foot water heater. You may want to pump water from outside.

We recently moved to a larger aquarium and the thought of lugging buckets of water around for water changes seemed irksome. So we decided to buy a kettle. We chose this one because the adapter is brass and not plastic. After using the water changer a few times to drain the water, we decided to run the hose outside instead of connecting it to a faucet. I couldn't waste all that water on weekly water changes. Some reviewers claim that the water can be turned off once the runoff has started; it didn't work for us. The pumping has slowed to a crawl if we don't let our water flow at full speed. It will not connect to our bathroom faucet but will fit our kitchen faucet after we remove the aerator. Our faucet is similar to this Delta Orleans 2457 Chrome Double Handle Kitchen Faucet with Sprayer. The oval shaped gravel tube is 18 inches long and comes with a removable guard to keep gravel and fish out of the water. We connect it to the faucet to pour water back into the aquarium (pour water into a glass and check with a thermometer until the water temperature matches the temperature in the aquarium). Pour 500ml into the aquarium to remove chlorine. It also removes ammonia and other harmful substances and also provides a mucous membrane for the fish. 50 feet of hose is more than we need, so we cut off a few feet and don't have to play around with that extra length. The hose is thick and not lightweight to cut Easy to follow step by step instructions are included Great product, no doubt makes weekly aquarium maintenance easier.
