I did a lot of research before I bought this jacket. I hate ordering online because you never know what you are getting. But not this jacket. I live in Las Vegas and we did a run today and the weather was up and down mostly down. It was pretty cold and this jacket did it's job. It kept the wind out and I was good. I was wearing a wife beater and a thermal shirt long sleeve underneath and I was fine. My gloves went over the jacket sleeves. It's well worth money and then some. I hope I never have to use the padding but so glad it's there just in case.
