Review on 🔧 HVRAH20080 Replacement Belt: Enhance Your Hoover Elite Rewind Bagless Upright Vacuum Performance with this Convenient 2/Pk Belt by Rachel Cooper

I didn't know the part number for the replacement belt for my Deluxe Elite Rewind so I typed the vacuum's name into the search bar and this is what came up. I ordered it and it arrived as promised. I couldn't be happier because my couches really needed vacuuming. (My dog likes to leave footprints everywhere.) As soon as I turned on the vacuum, I knew something was wrong. I read another review (after my incident) and it was accurate, when I turned on the vacuum it sounded like a tank. I thought maybe this needs to be adjusted? I don't know but I pushed it back and forth a few times and it started smoking. Switched off, unplugged and found torn pieces of belt on floor. I opened the vacuum and found that part of the roller had melted and the vacuum side was BROKEN, the part where the roller inserts. Also, part of the under cover covering the belt has burned out. I bought more belts, came today, put on the same one, loud noise, smoke, disgusting burnt rubber smell now filling my house. Opened the bottom cover to realize that even if the second belt was correct it doesn't matter right now because I realized that the part of the vacuum that holds the roller in place is the part that comes from the first belt broke off the pulley is no longer seated correctly. I'm EXTREMELY pissed, my vacuum cleaner is broken now, I've had it for 10 years if not more. Not knowing my model number, I trusted that what I was buying was correct as it says so on the belt description! I order from Revain CONSTANTLY and this is the first time I have had a problem with a product. I will NOT buy replacement parts for anything from Revain, I will go direct to the seller.
