UPDATE: I have since bought another of these collars thinking that the one I received was defective due to the reflective material wearing out completely within 6 months. The second was completely erased in less than 4 months. Although it's a well-made collar with cute colors, it's not worth buying every few months. We will look for other options. We bought this collar after our black Lab puppy decided to storm the door and roam the neighborhood one night. We live in an area where there are few streetlights so we couldn't see them. We bought it the same evening! She wore it for several months and it's still holding up. We visit our local dog park daily so he is exposed to rough content. The only problem is that the reflective material under the buckle and strap adjuster seems to be wearing off. Otherwise great collar! We also ordered a martingale version! We love them both!
