For people with very wide toes!
According to the description they were wide (EE). They are more like 4E! While this is fine for short distances, it's bad for on-court mobility. Also, when my toes move sideways with enough room, the shoes look silly! Support is good and overall fit is true to size so I will use them but not on court. In the description only systems D and E should be used and the word "broad" omitted.
