I bought this little speaker almost exactly a year ago. Most of the time it worked adequately. The sound quality was acceptable, if nothing special. The battery life was pretty long since I only had to charge it once a week, so my wife and I took about 10 showers in total, but even when it worked, it wasn't without issues. First, the sticky pad on the back lasts about a week. After we first took the speaker off the wall to charge it, the pillow stopped working and we had to hang the speaker on the shower head instead. This greatly reduced the sound quality of the speaker. When mounted on the wall, the wall gave the speaker some resonance, so the bass was much deeper and boomier, and the mids and highs sounded even better. However, after it could not be attached to the wall, everything sounded much flatter. Also, if water ever hit the speaker directly, the sound would be muffled and terrible. We had to wait for the speaker to dry before the sound quality returned to acceptable levels. To be clear, I mostly listen to audiobooks and podcasts in the shower, and water getting on the speaker made the voices almost unintelligible. A year later, this speaker finally fell into disrepair. Technically it still works, but the audio has taken on a permanently muted quality. Overall I can't recommend this speaker as it just doesn't last long and the waterproofing has never been up to par to begin with.
