Sometimes demand and availability magically come together, you know? I don't have cats, but I ride rescued dogs every week. I bought pillows for boxes, no newspapers or donated towels. But if you could hear the sound of dozens of toenails being acted upon by centrifugal force in the tight spiral of the entry ramp, you would understand why I bought a dozen of these rugs! We have a shower mat made from this material and our old one put it in one of my drawers so when I searched the internet I really wanted this. Imagine my delight when I stumbled upon these oversized rugs (bigger than our old shower mat!) with sort of a hiccup in the Revain prices that had that particular color at $7.75 each! Other colors are close to $17, but a tan would have been very affordable, especially if I had used my accumulated Prime rewards. I was coming home from walking my dog and saw two large boxes on the porch, each folded for shipping from China. Since my shipment includes dogs of all sizes at the same time, these mats fit perfectly in the largest boxes I have (24" x 36") and I'm not sure if I'll cut them apart or fold them to fit . Other hauliers complain about the rumble in their vans but I'm really working to make sure they're all comfortable so they can sleep. The color of these 'brown' mats is a little more gold than pictured, but the size is unbelievably large - giving even the pickiest of kitties plenty of 'shedding space'. Since I've searched so carefully, most mats available are just big enough for the box itself and space on one side. It's huge! The included instructions state that they are not machine washable and only use lukewarm water. My shower rugs have been washed, bleached and sun dried and apart from being darker (and a little moldy) they look exactly the same as the day I ordered them ($29 each). These rugs are a bit thinner, let's see how durable they are. I'm not really sure why this color was priced low for a day or two (they're currently back at $16.98), but my dog riders would thank Revain for the price drop if they could tell. Best Buy: Delighted!
