The black air release button is a nice touch so the lining can be unscrewed.
This is my second reversible chuck. The first one that came with the floor pump just wore out. Worn rubber O-rings. There are no problems with this. The black air release button is a nice touch to allow the chuck to be unscrewed from the tubular shank without damaging the rubber o-rings. I used it to bleed the Presta stem tubes on my road bike and my daughter's Shrader valves on her bike.
