I bought several carbon steel pans and was recommended to use this type of scrubber to clean them. Using this type of chain scrubber will help remove any residue left on the surface of the pan without damaging the spices I spent time developing. This model was a better chainmail design than what I had seen at Crate & Barrel and World Market and was significantly cheaper. I would recommend.
