Excellent monitor/tv in my review.
I felt the need to respond to some of the missing glossy reviews. For $300 it's great. The monitor feature looks great even though I didn't use anything other than DVI. Other posts provide information on how to fix broken text with HDMI. I would suggest buying a monitor and following the guide assuming you can follow the instructions. The TV function is useful for watching football matches or BBC world news while the wife watches oatmeal in prime time. Gorgeous colors/contrast and great for gaming.

- Screen Tearing: This occurs when the monitor's refresh rate is too slow, causing the image to appear choppy or distorted.
