We used these hats for Halloween decorations on the front porch. Hung them at different heights with tea lights inside it looked so cute and we got many compliments They held up very well. Got some wind but were otherwise pretty much protected. I do think they could stand up to rain and some wind I felt that they were well made they are somewhat thin but not bad. They will hold up for many more years if we decide to use them in that area
