If the sound insulation in your vehicle is not particularly effective, you should reconsider installing spikes, and you should do so nonetheless. I would not take spikes if I knew Hong Kong will have the same kind of winter as it had the year before. People have written in other comments that the traction is poor on snow porridge; I didn't notice it myself, but after reading those complaints, I will be extra careful:) Some pros: 1) Made in Japan. 2) The spikes do not become detached. Even though the combined mileage is less than 10,000 kilometers, departure for both seasons has nonetheless taken place, and all of the spikes have been installed. 3) Sufficiently long-lasting, since it was not essential to call in tire fitting on an ad hoc basis for at least two seasons, despite the fact that the roads were not in the best condition. 4) A secure grip can be maintained on snow and ice. When I switched to the front drive, the way the car drove became a LOT more predictable in comparison to when I was driving on the Velcro. Below are some downsides: Noise! The noise is reminiscent of a Boeing 747 taking off from the runway. I liken it to Velcro as well as other spikes made by a business that is not as well known.
