Good, but. best storage and organization solution

Benefits: keeps food warm; it is spacious; Divider is a great way to separate food. Cons: Heating lava rocks in 30-second increments is tiring, especially if you're dealing with more than one lunch box (I have two kids who use them); The partition between the top and bottom of the lunch box does not insulate each other, so you need to add an ice pack to keep the top food from getting hot. So you're wasting space and cooling your lava rock because it's in front of an ice pack; Lava rocks begin to clump together, and after six months they stop melting the substance inside them. When my kids got back to school in person, they stopped using the microwave, so I had to find a way to save their lunch. warm. This lunch box is roomy and the lava rocks actually worked initially. They kept the food warm very well. The problem is that you heat these lava rocks for 30 seconds for 2-2:30 minutes at a time in the morning. There are two of these per lunch box, which is almost 5-6 minutes per lunch box. It's nothing if you're not limited in time, but if you're in a rush in the morning it adds stress. Also a month later, one of the lava rocks swelled to the size of a lemon in the middle of a cycle. After a while he almost returned to normal, but he was never the same. Now all my lava rocks have some kind of lump. They heat up, but the material inside them that used to melt and become liquid no longer melts. So I think we should replace the lava rocks every six months or so. I'd also like to see some sort of insulation between the top and bottom (perhaps a cork?) so I can better prevent food from one section from being heated by heat from the other section.
