So much peace and quiet! Lai will not! We are a mixed breed and he loves to bark at any noise, shadows, cars, EVERYTHING! He loves to sit in a huge bay window and watch the world go by, but in a tree-filled urban area with dozens of squirrels, it's just a nightmare! barks the guard, and since then there has been blessed silence. He doesn't even have to wear it anymore. My dog is amazingly smart and learns very quickly, he is trained and the trainer says you must correct bad behavior immediately so they know what is inappropriate. You can't be around a dog all the time, and a collar instantly corrects bad behavior. Sensitivity is adjustable, meaning you can choose when the collar will beep/vibrate based on how loud your dog is barking. Battery life is great, my dog doesn't get hurt, it's more of a scare factor and he doesn't like the beep. Now he just looks out the window and watches the passers-by. It is really incredible. So glad we got it
